Every child deserves the opportunity to learn, dream, and build a meaningful future. Yet for many children, those dreams remain fragile without the support of compassionate people.

“My greatest ambition is to become a doctor so that I can treat people who are suffering. Unfortunately, I do not have the financial means to achieve my dream. If you believe in me, please support me,” says Fred Kalyango

(Born: 17 August 2008).

Fred is a gentle, quiet, and respectful boy who finds joy in playing football. He comes from a family of five children. Sadly, Fred lost his mother, and his father’s whereabouts remain unknown, leaving him without parental care or financial support.

Today, Fred lives with Youth With A Vision’s foster family in Kayirikiti Village, where he receives guidance and protection. Through determination and resilience, Fred has successfully completed his primary education. This achievement reflects his commitment to learning and his hope for a better life.

However, Fred now faces a critical turning point. He is currently enrolled in secondary school and is eager to continue his education. Despite overcoming enormous challenges to complete his first term, he is now struggling to return for Term Two due to a lack of sponsorship. The cost of school fees, uniforms, books, and essential learning materials remains a significant barrier.

With the support of a sponsor, Fred can stay in school, continue his education, and work towards the brighter future he dreams of.

Education is not simply school attendance — it is the foundation for dignity, opportunity, and long-term impact. When a child is educated, they grow into adults who can transform not only their own lives but also contribute meaningfully to the development of their communities.

Your support can keep Fred’s dream alive.
